Aquatic Resources Extraction from LiDAR Surveys (CoastMap) is one of the five project components of Phil-LiDAR 2 Program or the Nationwide Detailed Resources Assessment Using LiDAR. This project aims to provide an updated and detailed inventory of high valued coastal resources (seagrass, corals, macroalgae, aquaculture, mangroves, etc.) in the Philippines by developing methodologies for mapping such resources using LiDAR and other various geospatial technologies such as optical imagery. Expected outputs of the project are the algorithms and workflows for extracting and characterizing coastal resources from LiDAR, and high resolution maps of coastal resources. Team is composed of:
